| Blue Boat On Ballyconneely Bay was painted in the back seat of our rental car during a light rain. A man drove up next to us, got out and took a photo. He then knocked on the window and said it is much easier to paint back in his studio in Texas. Yes, maybe, but was he full of mussels and warm soda bread? This is painted on an old piece ofIrish roofing slate.

Blue Boat On Ballyconneely BayWhat a beautiful light-blue boatAttached to a bright-pink float The water was blue and red, the sky was gray Green shallows over yellow sand at Ballyconneely Bay We were reasonably happy and quite well fed We had just consumed a plate of mussels and warm soda bread |
