Angel Island Cove was inspired by the small sail boats that ply the waves
of San Francisco's bay by day, and find shelter in island coves
and ride out the night rocked by waves (October 1994).

Music: Dreams of Alwyn
(Isle of Innisfree)

Angel Island Cove

Just inside San Francisco's Gate
An Island named for Angels lies in wait
In its leeward cove in the early morn
A small ship is anchored looking forlorn
The muted colors of green and gray
Mock the peacefulness of the bay
The island
Fog shrouded unseen
Sky clouded serene
Early or late
Assumes its fate
