been abandoned. Several times I was attracted to the
situation, meaning how the house was situated to the
land and other features. I asked is the land and house
available? Or who owns that piece of property. Often
the response was that they didn't know. An
explanation was offered in that the people that
lived there migrated away years ago and no one
knows anymore.
Just recently laws were changed I was told that
would allow an abandoned piece of property to be
claimed. The process could take many years.
