Kilkenny Bridge tries to elicit the warmth and peace that was present one fine day in Ireland. It was a perfect day and this quaint little bridge beckoned to me to cross over and explore the older buildings on the other side. I can truthfully say that my short time in Kilkenny was delightfully pleasant.

To me the village of Kilkenny
Was as delightful as any
This charming bridge crossed over a stream
The quiet along its edge was like a dream
You could lose your thoughts there
Sitting on a bench in the warm summer’s air
