These Majestic cliffs mean something to the English beyond their mere physical presence. When we saw them the sunlight made them shine. They were brilliant and brought to mind all the wonderful words I had heard about the White Cliffs of Dover. I should do some research to find out how long they have been there.

A castle on top of these magnificent cliffs of white
No doubt they can be seen in the moon light

How many ships have passed by
How many English sailors have let out a sigh

Sailing in from a long voyage or shipping out
Coming home you could imagine the shout!
